Inventory Officer
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate inventory records by updating and reporting stock levels, receipts, and reorders.
- Monitor stock levels and raise requisitions for replenishment where necessary.
- Track and document all inventory movements, including returns and damaged items.
- Creating purchase order for suppliers
- Generate reports as may be required.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, stock management procedures, and audit requirements.
- Conduct regular stock reconciliation with system records.
- Collaborate with procurement, warehouse, and finance teams to ensure a smooth flow of goods.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies in stock records.
- Ensure adequate labelling with efficiency
- Support cycle counts, audits, and inspections as required.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in inventory, warehouse, or stock management.
- Bachelor’s degree or HND in Supply Chain Management, Economics, Accounting, Statistics or related field.
- Strong knowledge of inventory control systems(Sage200) and MS Excel.
- Good numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Integrity, accountability, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
