Internal Sales Executive
Job Summary
- The Internal Sales Executive will be responsible for supporting the entire sales process from lead generation and client relationship management to order processing and after-sales support.
- The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and adaptable, with the ability to quickly learn and use digital procurement platforms such as Ariba and NipeX.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Client Relationship Management:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
- Respond promptly to client inquiries, prepare and follow up on quotations, and close sales.
- Support external sales and business development teams by handling inbound leads and client requests.
- Proactively reach out to potential clients to introduce the company’s products and services.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of all product lines and service offerings.
Order & Documentation Management:
- Prepare and process sales quotations, purchase orders, invoices, and other documentation in line with company procedures.
- Ensure timely follow-up on orders, delivery schedules, and client satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date sales records and client databases (CRM).
- Coordinate with other departments (Finance, Operations, Logistics) to ensure efficient service delivery.
Reporting & Analysis:
- Track and report sales performance, including leads, conversions, and revenue.
- Monitor customer feedback and market trends to identify new opportunities and areas for improvement.
- Prepare periodic sales reports and participate in sales meetings.
Administrative & Coordination Support:
- Assist in preparing proposals, presentations, and bids.
- Support marketing activities such as client outreach, database management, and product promotions.
- Handle routine administrative tasks and ensure professional communication with clients.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or any related field.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in internal sales, business development, or sales support.
- Proven ability to manage client relationships and contribute to sales targets.
- Experience in handling client accounts, quotations, and documentation processes.
- Familiarity with procurement processes or willingness to learn digital bidding platforms (Ariba, NipeX) is an advantage.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent customer service orientation.
- Good organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM tools.
