Internal Sales Executive

Job Summary

  • The Internal Sales Executive will be responsible for supporting the entire sales process from lead generation and client relationship management to order processing and after-sales support.
  • The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and adaptable, with the ability to quickly learn and use digital procurement platforms such as Ariba and NipeX.

Key Responsibilities
Sales & Client Relationship Management:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
  • Respond promptly to client inquiries, prepare and follow up on quotations, and close sales.
  • Support external sales and business development teams by handling inbound leads and client requests.
  • Proactively reach out to potential clients to introduce the company’s products and services.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of all product lines and service offerings.

Order & Documentation Management:

  • Prepare and process sales quotations, purchase orders, invoices, and other documentation in line with company procedures.
  • Ensure timely follow-up on orders, delivery schedules, and client satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date sales records and client databases (CRM).
  • Coordinate with other departments (Finance, Operations, Logistics) to ensure efficient service delivery.

Reporting & Analysis:

  • Track and report sales performance, including leads, conversions, and revenue.
  • Monitor customer feedback and market trends to identify new opportunities and areas for improvement.
  • Prepare periodic sales reports and participate in sales meetings.

Administrative & Coordination Support:

  • Assist in preparing proposals, presentations, and bids.
  • Support marketing activities such as client outreach, database management, and product promotions.
  • Handle routine administrative tasks and ensure professional communication with clients.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or any related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in internal sales, business development, or sales support.
  • Proven ability to manage client relationships and contribute to sales targets.
  • Experience in handling client accounts, quotations, and documentation processes.
  • Familiarity with procurement processes or willingness to learn digital bidding platforms (Ariba, NipeX) is an advantage.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent customer service orientation.
  • Good organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM tools.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Target-driven, with a positive and professional attitude.
