Be actively involved in the implementation of annual internal audit plan.
Prepare audit procedures, update working papers with findings and exceptions.
Raise audit exceptions based on non-compliance with Policies, Standards, Acts etc.
Follow up on previous audit findings for closure, based on pre-agreed timelines.
Work with process owners in identifying risks and mitigants.
Use leading technology and data analytics tools for internal audit tasks.
Identify performance improvement opportunities for attainment of corporate objectives of the company.
Obtain and analyse financial information/data.
Make recommendations on how to improve the internal control system and governance process of the company.
Carry out spot check periodically.
Carry out investigations or special assignments as may be assigned.
Filing/archiving of audit working papers, evidence and reports.
Perform any other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned by Superior Officers.
