Job description: We are an engineering company specializing in maintenance and overhaul services for marine vessels and equipment.The RoleKey Responsibilities:
- Design and develop hydraulic systems, including pumps, valves, cylinders, and piping layouts.
- Perform calculations and simulations to ensure system efficiency, performance, and safety.
- Create technical drawings and schematics using CAD software.
- Suggest appropriate hydraulic components based on system requirements.
- Work closely with mechanical, electrical, and manufacturing teams to integrate hydraulic systems into larger projects.
- Conduct testing, troubleshooting, and optimization of hydraulic designs.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
- Support project teams with technical expertise and provide documentation for designs.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Hydraulic Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of fluid mechanics and hydraulic system design principles.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar).
- Problem-solving skills with an analytical approach.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- 1–5 years of experience in hydraulic system design or a related field.
- Experience in Offshore Vessel hydraulic system (ie Liftboat, Jackup Rig etc)
- Knowledge of hydraulic components, materials, and industry standards (e.g., ISO, SAE, DIN).
- Experience with hydraulic modeling and simulation tools (e.g., MATLAB, Simulink, or CFD software).
- Hands-on experience with hydraulic testing and troubleshooting.
