Responsibilities

• Install sheet metal and flex duct systems in commercial and industrial buildings
• Properly connect gas lines to heating equipment
• Operate and maintain the Victaulic groove machine
• Groove steel pipe up to 8”
• Ability to rig equipment into place
• Understand and implement rigging hand signals
• Possess a current CFC refrigerant certificate
• Welding skills are a must! minimum certifications for structural weld and fabrication, or be willing to get certified
• Pre-measure jobs to identify the proper materials required for installation
• Coordinate installations with other trades
• Document work and create as-built wiring diagrams
• Assist with wiring checkout and systems startup
• Receive, verify and load all equipment and materials needed for each job.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years’ experience as an HVAC installer.
• Experience in industrial HVAC installation is a plus
• Experience in service and repair is a plus.
