Responsibilities:

Payroll Management:

  • Oversee and manage the end-to-end payroll process, ensuring timely and accurate payments to employees.
  • Process payroll adjustments, bonuses, commissions, and deductions accurately and in compliance with company policies and regulations.
  • Resolve payroll discrepancies and work closely with HR and finance teams to ensure accurate data.

Compliance and Reporting:

  • Stay up-to-date with local, state, and federal payroll regulations, tax laws, and reporting requirements.
  • Prepare and submit payroll-related reports to government agencies as required.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with internal payroll policies and procedures.

Benefits Administration:

  • Collaborate with HR to administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other benefits.
  • Process benefit enrollment, changes, and terminations accurately and timely.

Payroll Systems and Process Improvement:

  • Utilize and maintain payroll software, ensuring data integrity and system efficiency.
  • Continuously evaluate and enhance payroll processes for maximum effectiveness and accuracy.

Employee Support and Communication:

  • Provide timely and knowledgeable responses to employee inquiries regarding payroll, taxes, and benefits.
  • Conduct payroll-related training and information sessions for employees, ensuring they understand their compensation and benefits.

Team Management:

  • Lead and mentor a team of payroll specialists, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and identify areas for skill development and improvement.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Finance, Business, or a related field.
  • 4 years of experience in payroll management, with a proven track record of accurate and efficient payroll processing.
  • Strong understanding of payroll regulations, tax laws, and compliance requirements.
  • Proficiency in using payroll software and related tools.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with an ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and support employees effectively.
