Human Resources Intern

  • The Human Resources (HR) Intern supports employees and managers on important issues such as hiring, relocation, benefits, careers development, performance and compensation. If you are looking to understand how a leading business designs and implements successful HR policy, then this is the role for you.

Responsibilities

  • Support employees through interaction and feedback.
  • Coordinate employee information meetings on employment policies
  • Support line management use of HR tools and processes as well as interpreting and administering HR policies and programs
  • Support employee engagement initiatives.
  • Coordinate internal and external training and recruitment activities.
  • Assist in organizing internal team-building events and local community events.
  • Maintain a good grasp of HR and business issues.
  • Participate in initiatives aimed at continuously improving HR performance and employee motivation.
  • Ensure compliance with the Data Privacy and Protection Guidelines and relevant legislation.

Experiences & Exposures

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, industrial relations, social sciences, management or similar
  • 0-2 years of experience. Recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Must have completed NYSC
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft office tools
  • Ability to learn quickly and translate learning into practical solutions.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to use own initiative.
