Job Summary
- The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) serves as a strategic partner to business leaders, providing expert HR guidance and implementing people strategies that align with the organization’s goals.
- The HRBP will drive initiatives across performance management, employee engagement, workforce planning, learning & development, and employee relations to ensure a high-performing and engaged workforce.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Partnership:
- Partner with business leaders to identify workforce needs and provide HR solutions that support business objectives.
- Participate in business strategy sessions to align HR initiatives with departmental goals.
- Provide insights and recommendations based on HR metrics, data analytics, and employee feedback.
Employee Relations & Engagement:
- Serve as the first point of contact for employee concerns and guide policies, procedures, and grievance handling.
- Champion initiatives that promote a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
- Drive employee engagement surveys, analyze feedback, and support the implementation of improvement action plans.
Recruitment & Workforce Planning:
- Collaborate with the Talent Acquisition team to ensure timely sourcing and onboarding of quality hires.
- Monitor staff movement, turnover trends, and proactively manage manpower gaps.
- Support manpower budgeting and workforce analytics for business units.
Performance and Reward:
- Guideline managers through the performance appraisal process, ensuring fairness and compliance with policy.
- Support implementation of compensation and benefits programs that motivate and retain top talent.
- Conduct salary and benefits benchmarking in collaboration with the Compensation & Benefits (C&B) team.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Industrial Relations, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Professional certification is an added advantage.
- Minimum of 2–4 years’ progressive HR experience
- Strong understanding of employment laws, HR analytics, and business strategy alignment.
Skills and Competencies:
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation abilities.
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
- Sound knowledge of HR best practices and policies.
- High level of confidentiality, integrity, and emotional intelligence.
- Proficiency in HRIS tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
Salary
N541,000 – N680,000 Monthly.
