Human Resource Officer
Responsibilities
- Formalise SOPs and job descriptions across all departments
- Oversee performance management, leave schedules, and training plans
- Lead recruitment and onboarding of logistics staff, customer service floaters, and seasonal hires
- Explore and manage staff accommodation initiatives as part of the retention strategy
- Conduct regular team check-ins and pulse surveys to assess morale and identify gaps
- Manage grievance processes and team conflict resolution in collaboration with our HR advisor
- Maintain employee records and ensure statutory compliance (e.g., pensions, HMO, taxes) in collaboration with our finance advisor
Requirements:
- Previous experience in HR, ideally in an SME or startup environment
- Track record of improving team structure, morale, and retention
- Able to work in-person 2–3 days per week minimum
- Comfortable with WhatsApp-driven operations and informal teams, but also able to work with HRIS tools
- Experience supporting hourly-wage workers
Success Indicators
- 100% leave rotation completed without disruption
- Improved SOP compliance across departments
- 2+ team initiatives implemented (e.g., housing, bonuses, wellness)
- Reduction in team turnover or burnout incidents
