JOB SUMMARY:

The HR Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily HR operations, ensuring compliance with company policies, and supporting the implementation of HR strategies and initiatives. This role plays a key part in recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training, and HR reporting. The HR Supervisor also acts as a liaison between employees, managers, and senior HR leadership to promote a productive and legally compliant workplace.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

HR Operations & Compliance

  • Supervise the execution of day-to-day HR activities including employee onboarding, records management, and HR policy implementation.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, company policies, and industry regulations.
  • Maintain and regularly update employee records, contracts, and HR databases.

Recruitment & Onboarding

  • Oversee recruitment processes including job postings, shortlisting, interview coordination, and reference checks.
  • Coordinate and conduct orientation programs for new hires.
  • Ensure proper documentation and smooth onboarding experiences for all new employees.

Employee Relations & Welfare

  • Serve as the first point of contact for employee grievances and disciplinary matters.
  • Support conflict resolution efforts and promote a positive work environment.
  • Ensure timely communication and documentation of HR policies, memos, and circulars.

Performance Management

  • Coordinate performance appraisals and support department heads in implementing performance improvement plans (PIPs).
  • Track key performance indicators and employee development milestones.
  • Ensure fairness and consistency in performance evaluations.

Training & Development

  • Identify training needs and coordinate staff development programs.
  • Monitor attendance and effectiveness of training sessions.
  • Maintain a training calendar and documentation of learning progress.

HR Reporting & Analytics

  • Prepare and submit regular reports on recruitment, turnover, absenteeism, leave, and disciplinary actions.
  • Track HR metrics and make recommendations for improvements.
  • Support the HR Manager in workforce planning and organizational development.

Team Supervision

  • Lead and guide HR Officers or Assistants to ensure high standards of HR delivery.
  • Monitor HR team workflows and task execution.
  • Foster teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Professional HR certification (e.g., CIPM, HRCI) is an added advantage.
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of HR experience, including at least 1–2 years in a supervisory or lead role.
