Job Description
- A Human Resources (HR) Manager oversees all aspects of an organization’s human resources functions, including recruitment, training, employee relations, and compliance with labor laws.
- They play a crucial role in aligning HR practices with the organization’s goals, fostering a positive work environment, and ensuring the company attracts, motivates, and retains qualified employees.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment and Onboarding:
- Managing the entire recruitment process, from sourcing candidates to conducting interviews and facilitating onboarding for new hires.
Employee Relations:
- Addressing employee concerns, mediating disputes, and handling disciplinary procedures.
Training and Development:
- Developing and implementing training programs, performance management systems, and succession planning initiatives.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Developing and managing compensation strategies, administering employee benefits, and conducting salary reviews.
Compliance:
- Ensuring the organization complies with all relevant labor laws and regulations.
Policy Development:
- Creating and implementing HR policies related to employment, performance management, and other areas.
Strategic Planning:
- Working with top executives on strategic HR planning and aligning HR practices with the organization’s overall objectives.
Performance Management:
- Overseeing performance evaluations, providing feedback to employees, and addressing performance issues.
Employee Engagement:
- Developing and implementing strategies to improve employee morale and engagement.
Key Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Professional HR certification (e.g., CIPM, SHRM) is an added advantage.
- Minimum of 4–10years of HR experience, with at least 2 in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Strong understanding of labor laws and HR best practices.
- Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills.
- Proficient in MS Office and HR management software.
