About the Role

  • The Head of Strategy will play a pivotal role in driving strategy development, business planning execution, aligning departmental goals, supporting high-level decision-making, and enabling smooth cross-functional collaboration at Ceesolar. As a key member of the Management team, the role ensures that the company’s long-term strategic direction is translated into operational excellence and measurable performance.
  • This position is ideal for a dynamic and analytical individual with a strong background in strategy, business operations, or organizational development, who thrives in high-growth environments and is passionate about renewable energy and innovation.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Execution & Business Planning

  • Lead cross-functional strategic initiatives aligned with Ceesolar’s business objectives, including new market entry, process optimization, and product/service development.
  • Monitor project progress, track execution metrics, and ensure timely delivery of strategic priorities.
  • Conduct analysis and generate insights to support executive decisions on investment, growth, and operational improvements.
  • Act as a thought partner to the CEO in shaping strategic priorities and cascading them across the business units.

Organizational Alignment & Leadership Coordination

  • Drive operational rhythm across the leadership team, including managing weekly and monthly leadership meetings, aligning deliverables, and tracking action points.
  • Facilitate cross-departmental communication, ensuring transparency, shared accountability, and alignment on key initiatives.
  • Maintain a real-time dashboard of core organizational priorities, KPIs, and progress toward strategic goals.

Performance Management & Reporting

  • Support the development and implementation of a robust performance management framework for all business units.
  • Work with department leads to set measurable targets, track progress, and identify performance bottlenecks.
  • Coordinate the preparation of quarterly business performance reviews, reporting outcomes to the CEO and Executive Team.
  • Ensure uniformity in the use of organizational tools (e.g., project management software, CRM, dashboards) to enable data-driven decision-making.

Organizational Development & Change Enablement

  • Design and execute internal development programs aimed at improving leadership effectiveness, team collaboration, and cultural cohesion.
  • Provide support on internal communications, engagement strategies, and interdepartmental projects that foster innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Champion initiatives that promote operational maturity, including documentation of SOPs, process standardization, and institutional knowledge retention.

Executive & Board-Level Support

  • Prepare executive briefs, strategy memos, and board-level reports on critical business areas.
  • Lead special projects on behalf of the CEO or management, often spanning multiple teams or external partners.
  • Support investor or regulatory engagements by coordinating data collection and presentation development.

Does this sound like you?

  • 5–8 years’ experience in business development, strategy & planning,
  • operations, investment management, management consultancy, or
  • organizational development, ideally within a growth-stage company, clean
  • energy firm, or impact enterprise.
  • Proven ability to manage complex projects, work cross-functionally, and drive execution.
  • Highly organized and capable of handling multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong business acumen and analytical skills; able to synthesize data into insights and decisions.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills—able to engage with senior
  • leadership, frontline teams, and external stakeholders alike.
  • Adept at using business tools (e.g., Notion, Asana, Monday.com, CRM systems, Excel, Power BI/Tableau).
  • Deep interest in renewable energy, sustainability, and inclusive development.
