Head of Sales/Business Development.

Are you a results-driven sales leader passionate about developing high-performing teams and crafting winning growth strategies? This role offers the opportunity to shape the bank’s sales direction and accelerate business expansion.

Salary: ₦700,000 – ₦750,000/month (Net)

Location: Island

Work Mode: Hybrid

Other Benefits: HMO, Pension, Leave Allowance, and 13 months

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales and business development strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets
  • Lead, coach, and motivate the sales team to drive consistent high performance
  • Identify new markets, strategic partnerships, and profitable customer segments
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships to enhance retention and growth
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer insights to inform sales strategy
  • Oversee the development of sales pitches, proposals, and presentations
  • Establish and track key performance metrics for sales team effectiveness
  • Collaborate with product, marketing, and operations teams to align business development initiatives
  • Drive customer acquisition campaigns and implement cross-selling/up-selling strategies
  • Conduct regular sales reviews, forecast revenue, and report performance to executive leadership
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies within sales activities

What You Bring:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field
  • 5–8 years’ experience in sales or business development (preferably in financial services)
  • Proven track record of meeting sales targets and leading successful sales teams
  • Strong strategic thinking, negotiation, and communication skills
  • Ability to build and sustain high-value client relationships
