Head of Sales
Role Purpose Statement:
- The Head of Sales oversees and leads the activities of the Sales Department.
- The aim is to ensure that these functions are carried out effectively and efficiently, in harmony and in accordance with applicable statutory regulations, company’s operational standards and policies.
Main Accountabilities
- Coordinate the activities of the Branch Managers and sales team to achieve sales targets.
- Collaborates with leadership to develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue and market share growth
- Provides leadership to the sales team, set targets and monitor performance.
- Analyze market trends and competition to identify opportunities and threats.
- Suggests pricing strategies and promotions to drive sales
- Identifies and analyzes customer preferences to properly direct sales efforts.
- Implement pricing strategies and promotions to drive sales
- Assigns territories and sets quotas for sales teams on bulk order.
- Resolves customer complaints, staffing problems, and other issues that may interfere with efficient sales operations.
- Prepares sales budget; monitors and approves expenses.
- Organizes and oversees the schedules and performance of Branch/Sales managers.
- Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive.
- Performs other delegated duties.
