Head of Human Resources (HR Manager)
Key Responsibilities
Strategic HR Leadership:
- Develop and implement HR strategies that support business growth and operational efficiency.
- Serve as a strategic partner to executive management on people, structure, and performance matters.
- Performance Management & KPI Setting
- Design, implement, and manage company-wide KPI frameworks for all departments.
- Ensure clear performance targets, appraisal systems, and measurable outcomes.
- Monitor, evaluate, and report performance metrics regularly to management.
Recruitment & Talent Management:
- Lead end-to-end recruitment for management, sales, operations, and factory roles.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Departmental KPI implementation rate
- Employee performance appraisal completion and quality
- Staff turnover and retention rate
- Recruitment turnaround time
- Compliance and disciplinary case resolution rate
- Training effectiveness and performance improvement outcomes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- Master’s degree or MBA is an added advantage
- Professional certification (CIPM, SHRM, HRCI, or equivalent) is mandatory
- Minimum of 7–10 years HR experience, with at least 3 years in a senior HR leadership role
- Proven experience in KPI design, performance management systems, and HR analytics
- Strong knowledge of Nigerian labor laws
- Experience in FMCG, manufacturing, or sales-driven organizations is highly preferred.

- Identify training needs and implement capacity-building programs.
- Coach managers on leadership, people management, and performance supervision.
Compliance & Administration:
- Ensure full compliance with Nigerian labor laws and HR best practices.
- Oversee payroll coordination, leave management, and staff records.
