Head of Human Resources – Emerging Businesses

About the Role

  • As the Head of HR, you will oversee cross-functional teams and our emerging businesses such as Fintech, Betting, VAS, Techhub and PropTech sectors.

Responsibilities
Strategic HR Leadership:

  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective communication, alignment and integration of HR initiatives with the company’s business objectives.
  • Advise executive management on people-related matters including workforce planning, organizational design, and succession planning.
  • Champion company culture, values, and employee engagement initiatives.

Talent Acquisition & Management:

  • Oversee recruitment, selection, and onboarding processes to attract and retain top talent.
  • Implement employer branding initiatives to position the company as an employer of choice.
  • Develop succession planning and career development frameworks.

Learning & Development:

  • Design and implement training programs to build employee capability and leadership skills.
  • Foster a learning culture through coaching, mentorship, and continuous development opportunities.

HR Systems and Data:

  • Implementation of HRIS systems and databases, managing employee data and generating reports for the Management.

Performance Management:

  • Develop and manage performance management systems to ensure accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Partner with managers to set clear performance objectives and track employee progress.
  • Drive reward and recognition programs.

Employee Relations & Engagement:

  • Create policies and practices Manage conflict resolution, grievances, and disciplinary procedures fairly and in line with labor laws.
  • Conduct employee satisfaction surveys and implement engagement action plans.

HR Operations & Compliance:

  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, health and safety regulations, and company policies.
  • Oversee payroll, benefits, and compensation structures.
  • Maintain HR records and ensure data confidentiality.

Policy Formulation & Implementation:

  • Develop, update, and enforce HR policies and procedures that promote a positive workplace culture and employee well-being.
  • Ensure compliance across all levels of the organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s degree/HR certification preferred).
  • 10+ years’ progressive HR experience, with 5+ years in a senior leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of labor laws, HR strategy, and people management.
  • Proven track record in talent development, organizational culture, and change leadership.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
