Role Description
- This is a full-time on-site role based in Lagos for a Group Treasurer.
- The Group Treasurer will manage the organization’s treasury operations, ensuring effective liquidity planning, cash flow management, and financial risk assessment.
- Day-to-day tasks include monitoring funds, managing investment portfolios, negotiating banking facilities, optimizing financing structures, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
- The role also involves forecasting capital requirements, implementing treasury policies, and maintaining relationships with financial institutions.
Qualifications
- Comprehensive knowledge of Treasury Operations, Liquidity Management, and Financial Risk Management
- Strong skills in Cash Flow Forecasting, Investment Management, and Portfolio Analysis
- Proficiency in Financial Modeling, Budgeting, and Regulatory Compliance
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with strong organizational skills
- Proven ability to maintain high-level relationships with banks and financial partners
- Advanced knowledge of accounting and financial reporting standards
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; professional certifications such as CFA, ACT, or equivalent are advantageous
- Experience in the financial services sector or similar industries is preferred
