Role Summary

The Group Head of HR & Administration will be responsible for developing and institutionalizing the people, culture, and administrative framework across the company and its subsidiaries. The role requires a visionary HR leader with strong administrative acumen, who can design and implement HR systems, build leadership pipelines, and support the company in attracting and retaining top-tier management talent.

Key Responsibilities

HR Strategy & Organizational Development

  • Design and implement group-wide HR strategy aligned with Juremi’s long-term vision.
  • Develop HR policies, procedures, and employee handbooks.
  • Establish systems for performance management, succession planning, and leadership development.

Talent Acquisition & Recruitment

  • Lead recruitment of top management and specialized talent.
  • Build partnerships with headhunters, recruitment agencies, and universities.
  • Ensure robust onboarding and integration of new hires.

Learning, Development & Culture

  • Create training and development programs that foster continuous learning.
  • Drive organizational culture that emphasizes performance, integrity, and innovation.
  • Introduce mentorship and coaching frameworks.

Administration & Systems

  • Oversee general administration, facilities management, and office support functions.
  • Ensure efficient document management, compliance, and staff record systems.
  • Introduce HR technology systems (HRIS/ERP) to automate HR and admin processes.

Employee Engagement & Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, employee welfare standards, and health & safety requirements.
  • Drive initiatives that improve employee engagement, retention, and productivity.
  • Manage employee relations, grievance handling, and conflict resolution.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s/MBA preferred).
  • Professional certifications: CIPM, SHRM, CIPD, or equivalent.
  • 10+ years’ progressive HR leadership experience, with at least 5 years at senior/group level.
  • Proven experience in organizational development, talent acquisition, and HR systems setup.
  • Strong understanding of labor law, compliance, and corporate governance.

HR Systems & Processes

  • % of administrative and HR processes automated.

Talent Acquisition & Leadership Pipeline

  • Time-to-fill for key management roles (target: within 60 days).
  • Quality of hires measured by performance ratings after 6–12 months.
  • Number of senior leadership roles successfully filled internally (succession planning).

Employee Engagement & Retention

  • Employee turnover rate (benchmark against industry average).
  • Employee engagement/satisfaction scores (annual surveys).
  • Implementation of career development programs and training hours per employee.

Administration & Compliance

  • Zero labor disputes or penalties from regulatory bodies.
  • On-time renewals of all statutory obligations and compliance requirements.
  • Cost efficiency in administrative expenses (optimized facilities management).

Leadership Impact

  • Improvement in organizational culture (measured by feedback/surveys).
  • Percentage of management staff who achieve agreed KPIs under their supervision.
  • Overall contribution to Board-level strategic planning and decision support.
