Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Gas Plant Manager to oversee the daily operations of our gas processing/production facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant plant operations, managing staff, maintaining equipment, and meeting production targets in line with regulatory and company standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the gas plant to ensure uninterrupted and efficient production
• Ensure strict compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations and industry standards
• Supervise, train, and manage plant personnel, including operators, technicians, and supervisors
• Develop and implement operational procedures, maintenance schedules, and safety protocols
• Monitor plant performance, production output, and equipment efficiency
• Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance of plant equipment
• Manage inventory of gas, spare parts, and consumables
• Prepare operational reports, budgets, and performance reviews
• Liaise with regulatory authorities, suppliers, and senior management
• Respond promptly and effectively to emergencies, equipment failures, or safety incidents

Requirements & Qualifications

Education

• Ordinary National Diploma in (Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, or related field)
• Relevant professional certifications are an added advantage

Experience

• Minimum 2–5 years\’ experience in gas plant operations or related industrial facilities
• At least1 years in a supervisory or managerial role

Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of gas processing, storage, and distribution systems
• Excellent understanding of HSE regulations and risk management
• Leadership and team management skills
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, process flow diagrams, and operating manuals
• Good communication, reporting, and organizational skills
• Proficiency in basic computer applications and plant management systems
