Background
- We are seeking a dynamic and experienced HR Manager to lead and manage the internal human resources function of our company while supporting key HR projects as needed.
- The ideal candidate will ensure that our internal people management practices align with best practices and local labor laws, while contributing expertise to help deliver outstanding HR solutions
Responsibilities
- Oversee the company’s recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, training and development, and off boarding.
- Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies and procedures that comply with local labor laws and industry’s best practices.
- Coordinate the performance appraisal process and support line managers with performance improvement plans and employee development initiatives.
- Serve as the main point of contact for employee concerns, grievances, and disciplinary procedures, ensuring fair and consistent resolution.
- Champion initiatives that foster a positive work culture, drive employee engagement, and support retention.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Industrial Relations, Business Administration, or related field.
- Relevant professional certification (e.g., CIPM) is highly desirable.
- Minimum of 5 years experience with atleast 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Strong understanding of local labor laws and HR best practices
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects.
Salary
N300,000 – N350,000 / month.
