Role Description

• This is a full-time, on-site role for a Head Teacher at MEMOMAC School in Lagos State, Nigeria.
• The Head Teacher will oversee curriculum development and implementation, lead and mentor the teaching team, and ensure high educational standards are maintained.
• Responsibilities include planning and managing daily academic activities, fostering a positive learning environment, communicating effectively with parents and staff, and promoting innovative teaching practices aligned with the school’s vision.

Qualifications

• Strong background in Education and Educational Leadership
• Exceptional Communication and interpersonal skills
• Proven experience in leading and managing teaching teams
• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field (a Master’s degree is an advantage)

• Familiarity with technology-enhanced teaching methods is a plus

Key Responsibilities

• Manage repairs, inspections, and preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime in school operations.
• Supervise and coordinate maintenance staff, contractors, and service providers to ensure standard execution of task/jobs.
• Respond promptly to facility-related issues and emergencies, ensuring continuity of school activities.
• Oversee the school facility budgets and resource allocation.

Requirements

• Bachelors’ Degree or Higher National Diploma in Engineering, Facilities Management, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in facility management.
• Strong organizational and leadership skills.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and building systems.
