Job Summary
- We are seeking a visionary and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our leadership team in a fast-growing Tech-Pharmaceutical company.
- The CFO will be responsible for providing strategic financial direction, driving business growth, ensuring sound financial management, and strengthening investor and stakeholder relations.
- The ideal candidate should have a strong background in finance leadership within technology, pharmaceuticals, or FMCG, and a proven track record of managing financial operations in high-growth and innovation-driven environments.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Financial Planning:
- Develop and execute financial strategies aligned with the company’s long-term goals.
- Partner with the CEO and executive team to drive growth, profitability, and expansion.
- Provide insights and recommendations to support data-driven decision-making.
Financial Management & Reporting:
- Oversee all aspects of financial management including budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and reporting.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, tax laws, and industry-specific financial standards.
- Implement robust internal controls, risk management frameworks, and governance policies.
Capital Management & Fundraising:
- Lead fundraising initiatives including equity, debt financing, and strategic investments.
- Manage relationships with investors, banks, financial institutions, and external auditors.
- Optimize capital structure to support scalability and expansion.
Operational & Business Support:
- Drive efficiency in financial operations, leveraging technology and automation.
- Support new product launches, R&D investment decisions, and go-to-market strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Tech, R&D, Sales, Supply Chain) to align financial goals with operational execution.
People & Leadership:
- Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team to build a high-performing function.
- Foster a culture of accountability, integrity, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (MBA or Master’s preferred).
- Professional certification such as ACA, ACCA, CPA, or CFA required.
- Minimum of 10 – 15 years of progressive financial leadership experience, with at least 5 years in a CFO or senior finance leadership role.
- Strong experience in Tech, Pharmaceutical, or FMCG industries is highly desirable.
- Proven track record in fundraising, M&A, and investor relations.
- Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, innovation-driven, and highly regulated environment.
