Job Overview
- The Grants and Project Coordinator is a critical, high-impact role responsible for securing and managing the organization’s funding pipeline.
- This involves identifying and successfully obtaining grants while simultaneously overseeing end-to-end project execution to guarantee strict compliance with all funding and regulatory requirements.
- This role demands meticulous attention to detail, robust project management skills, and exceptional diplomacy in liaising with internal teams, partners, and external donors.
Key Responsibilities
Funding Acquisition & Compliance:
- Research: Proactively research and identify suitable, high-value grant opportunities for the organization.
- Proposal Development: Develop and submit persuasive, compliant grant proposals, including accurate budget formulation.
- Documentation: Manage all grant application processes and maintain accurate, up-to-date documentation.
Project Management & Financial Oversight:
- Execution & Oversight: Coordinate the planning and execution of all grant-funded projects to meet established objectives and deadlines.
- Financial Accountability: Monitor project budgets and expenditures meticulously, ensuring full financial compliance and tracking milestones.
- Reporting: Prepare and submit timely, comprehensive progress and final reports for both internal management and external funders.
Stakeholder Management:
- Relationship Building: Establish and maintain strong, effective relationships with donors, funding partners, and internal collaborating teams.
- Confidentiality: Uphold the highest standards of professional integrity, discretion, and confidentiality in all dealings.
