ABOUT THE JOB

  • The Senior Finance Analyst – Logistics plays a key role in delivering value through financial partnering and analytics support- providing insight, and control across logistics operations (Primary and Secondary Distribution, Warehousing, and Fleet Management and distribution Opex). This role supports strategic decision-making by generating robust financial analysis, driving cost optimization, and improving financial transparency. Reporting to the Logistics Finance Manager, role holder partners Logistics Operations Managers, alongside the Warehouse and Operations Teams, to support the delivery of the ICSC operational plan.

IS THIS YOU?

  • Minimum of 5–7 years’ experience in finance roles, with at least 3 in supply chain or logistics finance.
  • Advanced financial & accounting knowledge (ACCA, CIMA is an asset).
  • Understanding and interpretation of how Cost To Serve performance drives profitability, including risk & opportunity analysis
  • Understand financial impact / cost drivers to work with outsourcing partners
  • Strong working knowledge of SAP (CO, MM, FI modules) and data tools like Excel, Power BI, or similar analytics platforms.
  • Stakeholder management, specially focused on BSO & ICSC (including awareness about respective key processes and link to Group Logistics)
  • Solid understanding of FMCG logistics requirements
  • Understanding of Route To Market impact in logistics. Support for network design
  • Understand impact and effective planning of capital investment
  • Activity Based Costing and link of haulage, distributing & WH costs
  • CTS OPEX management and analysis, inventory management
  • CAPEX planning, control and management
  • Logistics OPEX cost drivers, macroeconomic and external influences
  • Logistics cost planning, accounting & analysis

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Partner with Logistics and Commercial teams to support delivery KPIs (OTIF, Route-to-Market efficiency, Customer Service).
  • Develop strong relationships with depots, warehouses, and fleet teams to understand operations and uncover value opportunities.
  • Attend logistics reviews, depot visits, and performance meetings to provide financial guidance and real-time insight.
  • Partner logistics teams to deliver Cost to Supply OH/OPEX Control by Plants/Depots
  • Transportation rates calculation and analysis by location/SKU
  • Support the BU Logistics financial reporting and budgeting processes
  • Plan (BP, RE) and support accurate submissions of monthly actual CTS together with BSO
  • Truck efficiency reporting and monitoring – R&M and Fuel Cost tracking
  • Support finished goods inventory & pallet management control
  • Logistics planning support as well as special projects on cost control
  • DIFOTAI analysis and support.
  • Support full implementation of (as well as adherence to) policy and procedures.
  • Update financial models and tools used in evaluating logistics performance (e.g., cost-to-serve models, route optimization analyses).
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with logistics-related controls (freight contract governance, fleet maintenance, fuel disbursements, transporter payments).
  • Support monthly control activities, stock counts, reconciliations, and audit processes for logistics.
  • Identify and lead cost-saving projects (fuel efficiency, truck leasing vs. ownership, warehouse consolidation, route planning).
  • Conduct cost-benefit analyses for capital and operational logistics projects.
  • Support sustainability finance cases including transition to gas-powered trucks and carbon impact analysis.

ABOUT THE JOB

  • The role holder will be responsible for ensuring all security breaches in any of our locations are thoroughly investigated and concluded within the stipulated time frame. The expectation is that investigation actions are concluded within 30 days. He shall evaluate investigation plans and ensure that the investigation processes and actions conform with standard operating procedures. The IM is also responsible for ensuring that all incidents under security investigation are properly logged in the Investigation Database and presented at the department’s monthly BPMS review sessions. The IM is required to lead investigations into high-value cases or any matter deemed sensitive by the business.

IS THIS YOU?

  • At least a first degree in any discipline from any accredited institution.
  • A minimum of 5 years relevant experience in both investigations and security. (settings include corporate security, law enforcement, military, security-consulting, legal, audit, compliance, finance, regulatory, etc.).
  • Certification as a certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) or Professional Certified Investigator (PCI) or equivalent.
  • Robust network within the law enforcement and military community.
  • A good understanding and application of security investigation and interview technics, concepts, practices, and procedures.
  • A good understanding with the legal requirements of security investigations as it pertains to human rights and data protection.
  • Security Interview/interrogation skills.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with ability to communicate with a diverse range and seniority of stakeholders, including technical and non-technical audiences.

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead and coordinate all investigation actions on sensitive and non- sensitive security breaches on NBC locations.
  • Assign investigators to handle cases of fraud, theft, or any other major incidents impacting people and business processes on NBC sites.
  • Manage all investigation actions in liaison with the Security Operations Managers.
  • Ensure that investigation plans and processes are of good quality and are compliant with the standard operating procedures.
  • Ensure that investigation reports are detailed and compliant with the existing reporting format.
  • Ensure that investigations are concluded within the stipulated timeline and in accordance with the SLA.
  • Develop and manage the investigation data base and ensure all reported security breaches are properly logged on the database.
  • Conduct lessons learned sessions with relevant internal stakeholders on the outcome of investigations on sensitive security breaches.
  • Monitor business loss recoveries monthly with stakeholders.
  • Drive loss recovery processes with internal stakeholders and ensure loss recovery recommendations are actioned by the appropriate responsible managers.
  • Conduct weekly reviews on all outstanding investigations cases.
  • Plan and execute investigation trainings to the appropriate managers.
  • Plan, coordinate and execute security awareness trainings for fleet drivers (bi-annual) and expats’ domestic staff (annually).
  • Advise the Business on security matters.
