Job Summary:

  • The Senior Sales Manager – B2G will be responsible for developing and implementing government-related sales strategies, securing large-scale government contracts, and managing high-value relationships with government bodies, ministries, agencies, and regulatory authorities. This role requires a strategic thinker, strong negotiator, and result-oriented leader who can navigate complex government procurement processes to achieve revenue targets and expand CIG Motors’ presence in the public sector market.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Strategy & Business Development

  • Develop and execute B2G sales strategies to meet and exceed assigned revenue and profitability targets.
  • Identify, evaluate, and pursue government business opportunities, including bids, tenders, and RFPs.
  • Ensure competitive positioning of CIG Motors’ products in all government procurement initiatives.
  • Drive penetration into federal, state, and local government agencies, leveraging established relationships and networks.

Government Relations & Networking

  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with government officials, procurement managers, and regulatory agencies.
  • Act as the primary liaison between CIG Motors and key government stakeholders.
  • Attend and represent the company at government forums, trade fairs, conferences, and industry events to enhance visibility and credibility.

Contract & Negotiation Management

  • Lead the negotiation of terms and conditions for high-value government contracts to protect the company’s interests.
  • Oversee the end-to-end contract lifecycle, including preparation, submission, execution, and compliance monitoring.
  • Ensure adherence to all government procurement regulations and guidelines.

Team Leadership & Collaboration

  • Supervise and mentor the B2G sales team to achieve set targets.
  • Work closely with Finance, Legal, and Operations teams to ensure timely fulfillment of government contracts.
  • Provide regular updates and performance reports to senior management.

Market Intelligence & Reporting

  • Conduct thorough research on government policies, procurement trends, and upcoming projects to identify opportunities.
  • Monitor competitor activities in the B2G space and provide strategic insights.
  • Prepare and submit accurate sales forecasts, reports, and market analysis.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, International Relations, or a related field.
  • Master’s degree (MBA or equivalent) is an added advantage.
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in sales, business development, or government relations, with at least 5 years in a senior management role.
  • Proven track record of winning large government contracts and achieving sales targets.
  • Strong understanding of government procurement processes, tendering systems, and compliance requirements.
  • Established network within government agencies, ministries, and regulatory bodies.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management skills.

Key Responsibilities:
Aftersales Strategy & Operations

  • Develop and implement an aftersales strategy aligned with the company’s overall business goals.
  • Oversee the service and parts departments, ensuring operational efficiency and profitability.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive improvements in service quality and customer retention.
  • Ensure proper inventory management of spare parts, optimizing stock levels to reduce costs and improve availability.
  • Lead initiatives to enhance workshop productivity, turnaround time, and first-time fix rates.

Customer Service & Satisfaction

  • Establish and maintain high standards of customer service, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Develop and implement customer feedback mechanisms to improve service quality continuously.
  • Resolve escalated customer complaints efficiently, ensuring customer retention.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop customer engagement programs and loyalty initiatives.

Financial & Revenue Growth

  • Drive revenue generation from aftersales services, including repairs, maintenance, and spare parts sales.
  • Set and achieve sales targets for spare parts and service packages.
  • Control costs by monitoring budget expenditures, pricing strategies, and warranty claims management.
  • Identify and develop new revenue streams such as extended service contracts and value-added services.

Leadership & Team Management

  • Lead, train, and develop the aftersales team, including service managers, technicians, and customer service representatives.
  • Implement staff training programs to enhance technical skills, product knowledge, and customer service.
  • Establish and maintain a high-performance work culture within the aftersales department.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and set clear objectives for team members.

Compliance & Standards

  • Ensure all aftersales operations comply with local automotive regulations and company policies.

  • Ensure proper documentation and compliance with warranty policies and OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) guidelines.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.
  • MBA or equivalent qualification is an advantage.
  • 10+ years of experience in the automotive aftersales industry, with at least 5 years in a senior managerial role.
  • Proven track record in managing large-scale aftersales operations, including service workshops and parts distribution.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent customer relationship management skills.
  • Experience with automotive diagnostic tools and service management software.
  • Strong financial acumen and experience in budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
