About the job

• Assist in preparing and updating bank reconciliation schedules to ensure alignment between bank statements and internal records.
• Support the review and retirement of imprest by ensuring submitted expenses are accurate, complete, and compliant with internal financial policies.
• Manage workflows for expenses and invoices by processing submissions, ensuring proper approvals, and maintaining accurate documentation.
  Post approved invoices into the accounting system, ensuring correctness, proper coding, and timely entry.
• Support payroll-related postings, including provisions for ITF, NSITF, and Pension, while ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and internal procedures.
• Provide general support for Finance Department activities.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Professional accounting certifications such as ACCA, ICAN, or equivalent are an added advantage.

Experience

• Minimum of one (1) year of relevant experience in accounting, finance, or related functions

Knowledge & skills

• Basic accounting principles, financial reporting, and bookkeeping practices
• Bank reconciliation, invoice, and payroll processes
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
• Proficiency in accounting software, Excel, and other financial management tools
• Attention to detail and accuracy in financial documentation
• Effective communication and reporting skills
• Ability to collaborate and coordinate with team members
