Job Summary:

The Finance Intern will provide administrative support to the finance team, assisting with financial management, budgeting, and accounting tasks. The intern will work closely with the finance team to ensure efficient and effective financial operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with financial data entry and record-keeping
• Help with budget tracking and financial reporting
• Prepare financial statement and reports
• Participate in financial analysis and planning
• Assist with financial documentation and compliance Support audit preparations and financial reviews
•  Ensure adherence with 5TEis policies
• Ensure proper filling of document
• Take day to day responsibility of managing petty cash
• Preparation of payment vouchers for cash and cheques and ensure timely settlement of all undisputed invoices.
• Facilitate and assist finance Officer to perform cash and bank reconciliation.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of donor regulations and compliance requirements
• ND/Diploma or recently completed a degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Strong analytical skill and attention to details
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft word and other financial software
• Good communication and teamwork skills

Academic qualification.

• Diploma or recently completed a degree in Accounting ,Finance, Business Administration and Economics
• Minimum of 1-2 years experience in an NGO
