JOB OBJECTIVE:
FIBERONE BROADBAND is an Open Access Network Provider focused in Fiber to the Business (FTTB) with the aim of providing seamless fiber connectivity to thousands of businesses across the country. Fiber support engineer is involved in all facets of fiber splicing including cable preparation, termination, fusion splicing, testing and troubleshooting.
JOB RESPONSIBILITY
- Splicing, testing and troubleshooting of fiber sites and links
- Documenting and reporting on work completed
- Maintaining project and safety documentation
- Inspecting fiber routes and cabinets as preventive maintenance
- Locating fault and mobilizing resources within minimal time to counter fault
- Restoring links within the MTTR or less depending on the critically.
