Role Description
- This is a full-time, on-site role for a Facilities Manager based in Lekki.
- The Facilities Manager will oversee maintenance and operations of building systems to ensure safety, efficiency, and functionality.
- Day-to-day responsibilities include supervising maintenance staff, managing budgets, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, planning and executing maintenance schedules, and liaising with vendors.
- The role will require proactive problem-solving and a hands-on approach to maintaining a safe and efficient workplace environment.
Qualifications
- Strong facilities management experience, including knowledge of building maintenance and operational systems
- Project management and budget management skills
- Proficiency in safety standards, compliance, and regulatory guidelines
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational abilities
- Problem-solving capability and the ability to work under pressure
- Experience with vendor management and contract negotiation
- Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field
- Previous experience in a similar role in real estate or property development industries is highly desirable
