Equipment Testing and Commissioning Officer
Job Summary
- You will be responsible for testing all equipment as well as commissioning
Responsibilities
- Test the accuracy of newly purchased equipment on random sample basis and submit the report to purchase
- Inspect, test, and commission new equipment at site, prepare and analyse the testing report
- Perform inspection of distribution equipment in IE network e.g. transformers, cables, switch gears, and all associated systems, and perform routine tests.
- Undertake defect management for major equipment and establish measures to prevent recurrence of failure
- Prepare guide/plan for equipment testing & commissioning
- Comply with Quality Management System / Occupational Health & Safety requirements including objectives and applicable regulations relating to assigned jobs
- Perform other duties as requested by the Head of department.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree / HND in Electrical & Electronic Engineering from a university/Polytechnics or a related field.
- Minimum of 0-3 years’ experience of increasingly responsible in basic understanding test of any power equipment as related to electricity distribution company
