Requirements

  • The applicant must possess acgood first degree (Bachelor’s) (not lower than Second-Class Lower Division) in Civil/Electrical/Mechanical Engineering from a recognized University, plus at least twelve (12) years post-qualification experience, ten (10) of which must be in similar jobs;
  • Candidates should be registered with both COREN (Council for Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria and NSE (Nigerian Society of Engineers).
  • Candidates should have excellent communication skills and must have high computer proficiency;
  • Candidates must have served as Chief Engineer (Civil/Electrical/ Mechanical) for at least four (4) years in a University System;
  • Candidates must be able to initiate, execute, and/or coordinate all minor works, maintenance activities, and capital projects in the University;
  • Candidates must demonstrate evidence of accomplishment as a Chief Engineer in a University system with clear evidence of output both in IGR projects and externally funded projects.
