Reports to: Managing DirectorOverviewMetrospace Construction & Engineering Ltd. is seeking an experienced Project Manager with a strong engineering background to oversee construction projects from site preparation to completion. The successful candidate will coordinate the entire project lifecycle, ensuring timely delivery, cost-effectiveness, safety compliance, and quality standards.This is a key leadership role that requires excellent technical knowledge, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage diverse teams, including site managers, subcontractors, and suppliers.Key Responsibilities

• Develop, manage, and oversee project plans, budgets, and schedules from inception to completion.
• Coordinate with site managers to ensure construction activities adhere to safety, quality, and engineering standards.
• Conduct site inspections regularly to monitor progress, resolve issues, and maintain project timelines.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, and subcontractors to align on project goals and deliverables.
• Prepare and review technical documents, drawings, and contracts to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Identify and mitigate potential project risks, delays, or cost overruns.
• Lead and document project meetings, providing regular updates to management and stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate project records, including change orders, progress reports, and cost tracking.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory, environmental, and safety requirements.
• Foster a collaborative environment between engineering, construction, and support teams.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelors degree in Civil, Structural, or Construction Engineering (or related field).
• Minimum of 5 years experience in construction project management.
• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, contracts, and building codes.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills with a sense of urgency.
• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, trello) and MS Office Suite.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple teams and projects simultaneously.
• Experience working on residential, commercial, and industrial building projects preferred.
