Commercial Sales Manager

Role Purpose:

  • Drive sell-in and sell-through in assigned channels, ensuring optimal merchandising and promotional presence.
  • Build and grow relationships with organizations to drive product adoption and sales

Key Responsibilities:

  • Secure listings with key outlets in assigned channels
  • Prospect and onboard partners as bulk purchase clients.
  • Negotiate in-store promotions and premium placement.
  • Ensure merchandising standards are met.
  • Track sell-in and sell-through performance, ensuring adequate supply and reporting weekly/monthly.
  • Build strong relationships with retail buyers
  • Develop tailored partnership packages (e.g., learning programs, faith-based tie-ins).
  • Manage event activations in these communities/ outlets.
  • Track bulk sales revenue and engagement impact.
  • Set up, optimize, and maintain product listings across all assigned platforms.
  • Manage inventory and coordinate fulfilment with logistics partners.
  • Track competitor activity and marketplace trends to adjust strategy.
  • Work with the Content Manager to ensure listings are visually compelling and aligned with brand guidelines.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 2-4 years in retail account management or sales.
  • Strong negotiation and in-store execution skills.
  • Experience in B2B sales or community engagement.
  • Strong presentation and relationship-building skills.

KPIs:

  • Retail sales target achievement.
  • Compliance with merchandising standards.
  • On-time promotional execution.
  • Number of active partners.
  • Sales volume per partner.
  • Retention and re-order rates.
