  • The overall objective for the Commercial Project Manager at Intelligent Innovations Limited is to be responsible for leading the delivery of high-impact projects that drive revenue growth, strengthen client relationships, and support the company’s strategic objectives. This role combines strong business development capabilities with effective project management to identify and capitalize on commercial opportunities. Working cross-functionally with senior leadership, technology teams, and external stakeholders, you will plan, execute, and oversee complex initiatives in fast-paced, results-driven environments. You will be accountable for managing project performance, ensuring alignment with financial and operational goals, and maintaining clear, influential communication with C-suite executives and key decision-makers. Your success will be measured by your ability to deliver projects on time and within budget while driving measurable commercial outcomes and fostering lasting partnerships.

Key responsibilities and  main tasks and activities

  • Lead the planning, execution, monitoring, and successful delivery of commercial projects from inception to completion.
  • Define project scope, goals, deliverables, and success criteria in collaboration with key stakeholders.
  • Identify, evaluate, and develop new business opportunities to drive revenue growth and market expansion.
  • Develop commercial proposals, pricing strategies, and business cases to support decision-making and secure buy-in.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, vendors, and internal teams.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for all project-related communication with senior leadership and external stakeholders.
  • Lead project status meetings and provide clear, timely updates to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Prepare and manage project budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and ensure financial objectives are met or exceeded.
  • Monitor project profitability and identify opportunities for margin improvement.
  • Proactively identify risks and develop mitigation plans to minimize impact on project delivery.
  • Resolve issues promptly to maintain project momentum and client satisfaction.
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary teams, providing clear direction and motivation to achieve project goals.
  • Foster a collaborative, high-performance culture aligned with company values and objectives.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives, applying lessons learned to enhance project delivery.
  • Promote the adoption of best practices and innovative approaches to optimize outcomes and create value.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations, reports, and documentation for C-suite executives and other stakeholders.
  • Clearly articulate project progress, challenges, risks, and commercial impacts.

Qualifications

  • A bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, economics, communications, or a related field. Master’s degree or MBA is an added advantage.
  • 3-5 years Proven experience delivering commercial projects, ideally in technology-driven or fast-paced environments
  • Demonstrated success in business development or revenue-focused project management
  • A solid understanding of the products and services offered by Intelligent Innovations, as well as the ability to quickly grasp technical concepts and communicate them effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong project management capabilities, including planning, execution, and financial tracking
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Ability to analyze market opportunities, develop business cases, and drive commercial outcomes
  • Effective time management and organizational abilities, with a track record of meeting deadlines under pressure
  • Skilled at stakeholder engagement and relationship management
  • Proficiency in market research methodologies, including qualitative and quantitative research techniques with experience gathering and analyzing market data to inform strategic decisions and identify customer insights.
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop and execute comprehensive marketing plans that align with business objectives and drive results.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to craft clear and compelling messaging for different audiences. Experience creating marketing collateral, presentations, and other materials.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including product management, sales, and marketing with leadership skills to drive projects forward and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and interpretation, with the ability to leverage marketing analytics tools to track and measure campaign performance, identify trends, and optimize strategies for maximum impact.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt quickly to changing market conditions and business priorities with creativity and innovation to develop new ideas and approaches to marketing challenges.
  • Familiarity with the technology industry, including emerging trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs/preferences, is highly desirable.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in using marketing automation platforms, customer relationship management (CRM) software, analytics tools, and other marketing technology solutions is often preferred.
  • Professional certifications in Project Management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2,) or Business Development is a plus
  • Experience in technology commercialization or product monetization
  • Familiarity with CRM tools, financial modeling, or commercial analytics platforms
