Job Summary

• The Cleaning Operative is responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation across designated areas, ensuring a safe, sanitary, and welcoming environment forstaffand visitors at all times.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain assigned areas including lounges, offices, restrooms, walkways, and public spaces
• Carry out routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and waste removal
• Use cleaning chemicals, tools, and equipment safely and in line with approved procedures
• Respond promptly to spillages, high-traffic cleaning needs, and ad-hoc cleaning requests
• Follow health, safety, and hygiene standards, including security and access protocols
• Report maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards to supervisors
• Work assigned shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays as required

Requirements

• Minimum of basic education; ability to read simple instructions
• Prior cleaning or janitorial experience is an advantage but not mandatory
• Physically fit and able to stand, walk, bend, and lift during shifts
• Good attitude, reliability, and willingness to work in a structured environment
• Ability to comply with security and background screening requirements
