Role Description

• This is a full-time, on-site role for a Chief Security Officer located in Lagos State, Nigeria.
• The Chief Security Officer will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing security policies, protocols, and procedures.
• They will oversee security operations, manage and train security personnel, and ensure the protection of company assets.
• Day-to-day tasks include conducting risk assessments, coordinating security response activities, and staying updated on security industry trends and threats.
• The Chief Security Officer will also be responsible for ensuring regulatory compliance and collaborating with other departments to integrate security measures into company operations.

Qualifications

• Experience in developing and implementing security policies, protocols, and procedures
• Strong leadership and management skills
• Knowledge of risk assessment and crisis management
• Experience in managing security personnel and teams
• Proficiency in regulatory compliance and security industry standards
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Security Management, Criminal Justice, or related field
• Relevant certifications such as Certified Protection Professional (CPP) or similar are a plus
