Role Overview

  • The Chief of Staff serves as the strategic and operational right hand to the CEO.
  • This role ensures that all departments are aligned with the company’s goals, that communication and reporting are seamless, and that execution across the business remains disciplined and results-driven.
  • The Chief of Staff acts as a bridge between the CEO and the leadership team, driving accountability, reviewing reports and projects before escalation to the CEO, and ensuring that the company’s operational rhythm is maintained at the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities
Strategic Coordination:

  • Serve as the central liaison between the CEO and all Heads of Department to ensure smooth information flow, alignment, and timely execution.
  • Coordinate management meetings, track action points, and ensure follow-up and closure.
  • Review departmental reports, analyze data for insights, and present summarized updates to the CEO for decision-making.
  • Maintain visibility of all key initiatives and ensure alignment with the company’s overall goals and brand standards.

Operational Oversight:

  • Drive the company’s reporting calendar, ensuring timely submission of accurate and insightful departmental reports.
  • Monitor key business metrics (sales, customer experience, quality, HR, finance, and operations) and ensure performance accountability.
  • Identify operational bottlenecks and work with relevant HODs to resolve them before escalation.
  • Support the implementation and adherence to SOPs across all departments.

Executive Support & Leadership:

  • Prepare CEO briefs, dashboards, and summary reports for management and board meetings.
  • Act as a thought partner to the CEO on business priorities, risks, and opportunities.
  • Represent the CEO in selected internal meetings or engagements as delegated.
  • Coach and mentor HODs on performance management, leadership alignment, and communication.

Performance & Reporting:

  • Ensure all departmental KPIs are consistently tracked and that corrective actions are implemented promptly.
  • Review and validate management reports before submission to the CEO.
  • Champion a culture of accountability, timely feedback, and operational excellence.
