JOB OBJECTIVE
- The Chief Finance Officer (CFO) will provide strategic financial leadership, driving profitability, efficiency, and compliance across the organization. The role requires a hands-on, detail-oriented leader with proven experience in financial management, reporting, and advisory at the executive level. The CFO will also play a key role in business strategy, risk management, and stakeholder communication to ensure long-term sustainability and growth.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee and coordinate all accounting and finance operations to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance.
- Develop and align financial plans with the company’s strategic goals, offering actionable insights and recommendations.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management to support operational and growth initiatives.
- Identify and mitigate financial risks through effective internal controls and regulatory compliance.
- Conduct detailed financial analysis to assess performance, identify trends, and recommend improvements.
- Ensure compliance with applicable financial laws, standards, and reporting requirements.
- Drive operational efficiency and cost optimization across departments.
- Advise executive leadership and the Board on financing, investment, and capital structure strategies.
- Monitor key financial metrics and prepare periodic performance reports for management and the Board.
- Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing finance and accounting team, fostering professionalism and accountability.
- Stay informed of industry trends and financial best practices to enhance the company’s competitiveness.
REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field; a Master’s degree (MBA) is an added advantage.
- Recognized professional accounting qualification (ICAN, ACCA, or equivalent).
- Minimum of 10 years post-qualification experience, including 5 years in senior management roles.
- Proven experience reporting to or working closely with a Board of Directors.
- Strong background in financial analysis, budgeting, and strategic planning.
- Prior experience in the manufacturing industry preferred.
- Proficiency in modern accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
- High integrity, sound judgment, and a commitment to organizational excellence.
