Medical Doctor

Specific Duties and Responsibilities
The successful applicant will be required to perform the following duties, among others:

  • Provide effective clinical management of staff, including diagnosis, investigations, treatment, and follow-up.
  • Offer clinical counselling services
  • Conduct medical assessments and maintain proper documentation.
  • Deliver health education seminars.
  • Develop and implement health programmes for staff.
  • Perform any other duties as may be assigned by the Head, Medical Services.

Qualifications and Experience
Applicants must possess:

  • A Degree in Medicine and Surgery from a recognised University.
  • Full registration with the MDCN.
  • A valid practicing license.
  • A minimum of one (1) year post NYSC relevant experience in a reputable clinical setting. Computer literacy in the use of MS word, Excel and PowerPoint.

General Requirements

  • Candidates must be able to use personal computers, office software package and have knowledge of web- based systems;
  • They must be self-motivated and able to write good reports; analyse and review research reports.
  • They must be able to work extra hours with little or no supervision.
  • They must be a team player with good inter-personal skills and be open and able to lead change; possess influencing, analytical and communication skills.
  • They must be an organiser/planner with ability to be flexible and be able to successfully implement ideas.

Note

  • All Applicants must possess five (5) credits in WASSCE / SSCE / GCE ‘O’ Level including English Language and Mathematics at a sitting, or six (6) credits including English Language and Mathematics at not more than two (2) sittings.
  • Applicants should not be more than forty (40) years of age as at the close of the advertisement.
  • They must have also undergone the mandatory one (1) year National Youth Service.

Salary and Conditions of Service

  • The salary paid by the Council are very attractive.
  • Point of entry into the salary scales will depend on qualifications and experience.

Method of Application

Specific Duties and Responsibilities
The successful applicant will be required to perform the following duties, among others:

  • Assist in the formulation and implementation of Human Resource policies and programmes.
  • Assist in handling staff and Management issues.
  • Coordinate Human Resource matters relating to employee records.
  • Coordinate staff performance management reports.
  • Prepare Human Resource Management reports.
  • Perform any other duties as may be assigned.

Qualifications and Experience
Applicants must possess:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree (minimum of Second Class Lower Division) in Human Resources Management, Business Administration or a related field.
  • Master’s Degree in a relevant field is an added advantage.
  • Relevant work experience of at least three (3) years in employee relations, HR generalist role, HRIS management and HR data analytics.
  • Professional certification in CIPM, SHRM, CIPD, or other related certifications is a mandatory pre-requisite.
  • A minimum of three (3) years post NYSC relevant work experience.
