Business Support Associate
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the planning, coordination and monitoring of daily business operations.
- Monitor and follow up on internal workflows to ensure deadlines are met.
- Assist in drafting, formatting, and proofreading business proposals, expressions of interest (EOIs) and tender submissions.
- Conduct desk research to support business development activities, including market intelligence competitor analysis and client profiling.
- Support the creation of presentations and marketing materials.
- Assist in following up with prospects, partners and clients.
- Provide administrative assistance to leadership as needed.
Qualifications & Skills
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Social Sciences, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in an administrative, operations, or business development support role (consulting, training, or professional services sector experience is an advantage).
Skills & Competencies:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace.
- Proficiency with artificial intelligence (AI) tools.
- Ability to conduct research and synthesize findings.
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with proposal writing and bid submission processes is an added advantage.
