JOB DESCRIPTION
- We are looking for a Business Development Manager to drive revenue growth, expand our client base, and build strategic partnerships for our agency. This role is perfect for a proactive, results-driven individual with a deep understanding of the creative and marketing industry. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and positioning our agency as a go-to partner for brands looking to create impactful campaigns.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead Generation & Sales: Identify and secure new business opportunities by prospecting potential clients, developing proposals, and closing deals.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients to ensure long-term partnerships.
- Strategic Partnerships: Identify and develop strategic alliances with brands, media partners, and other stakeholders.
- Pitching & Presentations: Develop compelling pitch decks and presentations to showcase the agency’s capabilities and creative solutions.
- Market Research: Stay ahead of industry trends, competitor activity, and client needs to position the agency for success.
- Revenue Growth: Set and achieve sales targets, ensuring a consistent pipeline of new business.
- Collaboration: Work closely with creative, strategy, and production teams to align business development efforts with the agency’s core services and expertise.
- Proposal Development: Write and coordinate responses to RFPs, proposals, and client briefs.
- Brand Positioning: Represent the agency at industry events, networking opportunities to enhance brand visibility.
REQUIREMENTS
- 5-7 years proven experience in business development, sales, or client management within a creative agency, marketing firm, or related industry.
- Strong understanding of the creative and marketing landscape, including branding, content creation, digital marketing, and experiential activations.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain high-value relationships with brands and stakeholders.
- A results-driven mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
- Experience in preparing and delivering high-impact pitches and proposals.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently while collaborating with internal teams.
PREFERRED SKILLS
- Existing network of industry contacts within brands, agencies, or media.
- Experience in digital marketing, advertising, or brand strategy.
- Knowledge of CRM tools and sales tracking software.
