Business Development Executive
The Role
We are seeking a results-oriented and driven Business Development Executive to join our team. The primary goal of this role is to drive revenue growth by acquiring new customers and nurturing relationships with our existing clientele. You will be responsible for creating and executing a growth strategy that increases brand visibility and market share in Maiduguri.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Acquisition: Identify and target potential new customers, including individuals, corporate organizations, event planners, and institutions. Develop and implement strategies to attract them to the restaurant.
- Relationship Management: Act as the primary point of contact for existing corporate and high-value customers. Ensure their satisfaction and encourage repeat business through excellent service and personalized offers.
- Market Analysis: Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities, understand competitor activities, and stay current on industry trends.
- Sales and Marketing: Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute promotional campaigns, special events, and packages that drive sales and customer engagement.
- Reporting: Prepare regular reports on sales performance, customer acquisition metrics, and market insights.
- Customer Feedback: Gather and analyze customer feedback to inform business decisions and improve service delivery.
Qualifications and Experience
- A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
- A minimum of 2 years of proven experience in business development, sales, or a similar client-facing role, preferably within the hospitality or service industry.
- Strong understanding of the Maiduguri market and a network of potential clients is a significant advantage.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve targets.
- Proficiency in using sales management tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
