Role Description
- This is a full-time, on-site role for a Bookstore Assistant located in Lagos.
- The Bookstore Assistant will be responsible for managing inventory, assisting customers with book selections, handling sales transactions, and maintaining the organization of the store.
- Additional duties include restocking shelves, processing online orders, and providing excellent customer service both in-store and via digital communication channels.
Qualifications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for customer interaction
- Basic knowledge of inventory management and sales processes
- Competency in handling sales transactions and using point of sale systems
- Ability to organize and restock books efficiently
- Basic knowledge of online order processing
- Passion for books and reading
- Previous experience in a bookstore or retail environment is a plus
