Assistant Marketing Manager

Job Summary

  • The Assistant Marketing Manager supports the planning, development, and execution of marketing strategies and campaigns to promote the company’s products or services, enhance brand awareness, and drive sales growth.
  • This role involves coordinating marketing activities, managing content, supporting market research, and ensuring smooth execution of promotional initiatives across various channels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing and implementing marketing plans, campaigns, and promotional strategies.
  • Conduct market research to identify customer needs, trends, competitor activities, and opportunities.
  • Support in managing the company’s brand presence across digital and offline platforms.
  • Collaborate with sales, product development, and other teams to align marketing activities with business objectives.
  • Oversee content creation for social media, websites, newsletters, and promotional materials.
  • Monitor and analyze the performance of campaigns, preparing reports with insights and recommendations.
  • Manage relationships with vendors, advertising agencies, and other external partners.
  • Organize and coordinate events, exhibitions, sponsorships, and product launches.
  • Support budget planning and track marketing expenses to ensure cost-effectiveness.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or related field.
  • 5-10 years of relevant experience in marketing or brand management.
  • Experience with marketing tools, analytics platforms, and CRM software is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of digital advertising (Google Ads, Meta Ads, etc.) is preferred.

Key Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong understanding of marketing principles, branding, and digital marketing.
  • Proficiency in social media management, SEO, email marketing, and content creation.
  • Analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and market trends.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Salary
N500,000 – N600,000 monthly.
