Role Description
- This is a full-time on-site role for an Area Sales Manager based in Calabar. The Area Sales Manager will be responsible for overseeing and driving sales within the allocated territory. Key responsibilities include managing relationships with distributors and retailers, implementing sales strategies, achieving sales targets, analyzing market trends, and identifying growth opportunities. The role involves team management, mentoring, and collaboration to ensure operational excellence in meeting business objectives.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in Sales Management, Distributor handling, and Market Analysis
- Strong leadership, team management, and communication skills
- Proficiency in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and negotiation skills
- Ability to meet and exceed sales targets through effective planning and execution
- Knowledge of the Nigerian FMCG market or vegetable oil industries is an advantage
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
- Willingness to be based in Calabar and travel within the assigned territory as needed
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred
