About the Job

  • We are seeking a results-driven and customer-focused Agrochemicals Sales Representative to join our team.
  • The ideal candidate is passionate about agriculture, understands crop protection and soil health products, and is motivated to build long-term relationships with farmers, distributors, and stakeholders within the agricultural value chain.

The Key Responsibilities

  • Promote and sell agrochemical products to farmers, cooperatives, distributors, and retailers.
  • Conduct product demonstrations, field trials, and training sessions for clients
  • Provide technical advice and after-sales support to customers.
  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
  • Monitor market trends, competitors’ activities, and customer needs to identify new business opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales, customer interactions, and market intelligence.
  • Collaborate with the marketing and technical teams to implement promotional activities.

Requirements
Must-Have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, Crop Science.
  • Minimum of 1 – 3 years experience in agrochemicals or agricultural input sales.
  • Good knowledge of crop protection products, fertilizers, and modern farming practices.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel extensively.

Nice-to-Have:

  • Experience working directly with smallholder farmers and cooperatives.
  • Familiarity with precision agriculture tools and digital platforms for sales.
  • Multilingual skills (local languages and English)
  • Established network within the agricultural sector.
