Job Description

  • The Agent Network Manager will be a driving force behind Payzeep’s ambitious agent empowerment program. This role is responsible for recruiting, onboarding, training, and managing a network of agents across Nigeria. You will proactively seek partnerships with government empowerment initiatives, NGOs, and community organizations to identify and empower unemployed youth, particularly those in underserved areas

Key Responsibilities

Agent Recruitment and Onboarding

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive agent recruitment strategy, targeting unemployed youth and leveraging various channels (online platforms, community outreach, referrals, etc.)
  • Collaborate with government agencies, NGOs, and community organizations running empowerment programs to source potential agents
  • Design and implement a smooth onboarding process, including background checks, KYC verification, and agent training on Payzeep’s platform and services

Agent Training and Support

  • Provide ongoing training and support to agents on product knowledge, customer service, sales techniques, and compliance requirements
  • Develop training materials and conduct workshops to enhance agent skills and performance
  • Establish a support system to address agent queries and challenges promptly

Performance Management and Monitoring

  • Set performance targets for agents and monitor their progress regularly
  • Analyse agent performance data to identify areas for improvement and provide constructive feedback
  • Implement incentive programs and reward systems to motivate agents and drive productivity

Partnership Development

  • Identify and build strategic partnerships with government ministries (e.g., Ministry of Youth and Sports Development), state government empowerment programs, NGOs focused on youth development, and other relevant organizations
  • Negotiate partnership agreements and collaborate on joint initiatives to expand Payzeep’s agent network and reach

Compliance and Risk Management

  • Ensure agents adhere to all regulatory requirements and Payzeep’s internal policies
  • Conduct regular audits and risk assessments to mitigate potential fraud and operational risks
  • Stay updated on industry best practices and regulatory changes related to agency banking

Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Social Sciences, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in agent network management, microfinance, or community development
  • Proven track record in recruiting, training, and managing a network of agents or distributors
  • Strong understanding of the Nigerian financial inclusion landscape and government empowerment initiatives
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and leadership abilities
  • Passionate about social impact and empowering unemployed youth
