Administrative and Business Support Associate

A fast growing company in the area of Civil/Environmental Engineering and Project Management Consultancy seeks committed individuals to collaborate as Administrative and Business Support Associate under a flexible, hybrid, commission-based project development and execution model.
The role supports the company’s civil, environmental, and project management operations across proposal development, project supervision, documentation, client engagement, and administrative coordination.

This collaboration is not salaried employment, but a professional partnership built on contribution, performance, and shared project value.

Administrative & Business Support Functions (for candidates with admin/finance backgrounds)

  • Support proposal submissions, document formatting, printing, and packaging.
  • Assist in preparing invoices, receipts, and basic financial records for projects.
  • Maintain the opportunity tracker, follow up on leads, and update the team on deadlines.
  • Handle correspondence, scheduling, and follow-up communication with clients or partners.
  • Coordinate project documentation, filing (digital/physical), and secure recordkeeping.
  • Provide logistic and operational support during project mobilization or site activities.

General Responsibilities 

  • Work collaboratively on project development tasks assigned
  • Participate in remote and in-person strategy sessions and client engagements.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all documents, client information, and internal materials.
  • Demonstrate professionalism, integrity, and commitment to task delivery.
  • Uphold the company’s values in all interactions with clients, vendors, and stakeholders.  

Minimum Requirements:

  • Degree/HND in Business Admin, Management, Finance, or related fields.
  • Strong documentation, coordination, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and basic office tools.
  • Ability to work in a hybrid environment (remote + physical when required).

Skills Required (Applicable to both roles)

  • Strong communication (written & verbal).
  • Ability to work independently with little or no supervision.
  • Good time management and multitasking ability.
  • Willingness to learn and support multiple aspects of project delivery.
  • Professionalism, integrity, discipline, and accountability.

Engagement Terms

  • Commission-Based Compensation: agreed percentage of professional or project management fee, depending on contribution and involvement.
  • No base salary at the initial stage.
  • Collaboration governed by the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU).
  • Flexible working hours (task-based, not time-based).
