Responsibilities

• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
• Handle accounts payable and receivable, ensuring proper documentation and timely settlements.
• Conduct bank reconciliations, journal entries, and accruals.
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Monitor cash flow and advise management on liquidity and fund management.
• Ensure compliance with local tax laws, regulatory filings, and statutory requirements.
• Support internal and external audit processes, providing necessary documentation.
• Implement and improve accounting systems, controls, and processes.
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to support business decisions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Professional accounting certification is an advantage.
• Minimum of 3 years of progressive accounting experience in the oil & gas sector
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, inventory costing methods, and financial reporting standards.
