Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and management accounts.
• Maintain all accounting records.
• Carry out daily reconciliation of all sales proceeds i.e. cash or electronic payment to ensure the correctness of all transactions.
• Carry out on-the-spot assessment of the Cashiers to ensure the accuracy of their transactions.
• Keep a record of all accounting transactions.
• Carry out weekly stock reconciliation etc.
• Carry out daily reconciliation of all sales lodgements i.e. cash or electronic payment to ensure the correctness of all transactions.

Academic Qualification and Skills

• HND qualification / B.Sc Degree in Accounting or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years working experience on the job.
• Ability to work with less supervision.
• Attention to details and good record management.
• Familiar with Tally or any accounting packages.
• Computer savvy and familiar with Microsoft Office etc.
